Our Innate Significance Begets Our Natural Social Purpose – Prescient “EvoLog” circa ’93…

Prologue
01.17.2010

“EvoLog” is one of many names I have created and used since the early 1980’s to bring new energy and meaning into this subject and typically as an effort to describe an interconnected facet of this very large system of thought… and the now apparently unfolding reality.

I inc’d Psykon Achievement Systems in 1984 with “Psykon” as a word combination of “Psyche” and “Icon” and referring to “representation of the human mind and spirit.”

This meaning-play with words has always come natural for me. Good thing too. When one is describing a “large and new thing” this language-play becomes a serious necessity as a culture’s lexicon at any given time, and at that time a new large thing comes to life, is naturally incompetent to describe the quality of new-ness of that new and grand thing.

I have not seen this document, which I originally scribbled in 1993, for at least a decade (I am guessing here) and came upon it just the other day (January 5th, 2010) and sent it to my colleague Dr. Lou for grammatic tightening.  It is in thought as it was 17 years ago. I have writings from the mid 80’s that speak similarly and more specifically and am trying to get these into a useable format – old vr.’s of software.

I assume “Evolog” stands for “evolutionary logic” but it could have meant “evolutionary log” Star Date… blahdiddly… (but I doubt it knowing my own mind still).  Anyway the piece is dated – and at times not so very much. I hope you enjoy a few good thoughts and futuristic guesses made with this muddled text of mine – done with such great pecking labor. Yes, a grand and pitiful pity this.

BACKGROUND

If life is learning why didn’t anybody ever tell us that every time we learn something new we have an insight or an Ah-Ha.

Why was the nature of the most fundamental and measurable unit of life not made known to us?

The market, young and old, systems, individuals, and cultures alike, are screaming for the identification of, and bridge between, a universal language-for-learning and human creativity, and the evolution of social purpose and value.

Restated, we are screaming for enlightenment about the value of our insights over time, so we can better understand and then procreate our personal significance and social purpose in life.

We all learn the same way differently.

Despite the omnipresent nature of learning in human life no common thread, architecture, or universal language-for-learning has been articulated. Further, and until this time, the critically needed social architecture that bridges human and cultural learning to the creation of social value could not be developed. It is the development of one’s innate gifts, or natural competencies that begets personal and cultural significance. It is the unfolding of our significance that evolves our natural Social Purpose; the wonder of creative learning synergies and ultimately our Value as individuals and cultures.

Since 1985, I have predicted the emergence of the Learning/Evolution Technologies Industry.

The “pure-process” industry that cuts across all human endeavors and therefore markets.

This industry, as yet undefined by the financial markets, has gone from hundreds of millions to tens of billions in less than a decade. In the past generation, our Western oriented educational, self-development, or human potentiating, type products became available to the masses through the immense mail order publishing kingdom of audio and audio-video programs and more recently infomercials.

The exploding world of learning technologies for the development of the mind, body and spirit is physically evidenced by the proliferation of larger and larger shelf and floor space (500% or more) dedicated to the potentiating general education, psychology, health/wellness, spirituality, and business success type product sections in U. S. bookstores in the last 5 years alone. Eastern and Middle Eastern influences on our evolutionary product and service “content” are similarly evidenced. The world of human potentiating software and hardware is upon us with devices that provide myriad forms of bio-feedback; board games that analyze your dreams; self-hypnosis programs; and even food for thought as mind-munchies.

With the insurance industry funding Wellness (Mind/Body), and big business, schools and government buying Empowerment (Mind), we have sufficient evidence to support the readiness for the emergence of an industry that cuts across the social and economic development of all industries – the Learning/Evolution Technologies Industry.

Evolog, Inc. is positioned to midwife the birth of this revolutionary movement.

How we begin to achieve and maintain this leadership position is the real question and the inspiration for this proposal.

We are not working on behavior directly. The Recognition, Passion, Value and Objectives of the Effort: We will be the 1st team/org/work group to represent and correlate and create new value and new global conversation around the nature and patterns of our human insights, and not just the big ones, the Eureka’s, but all insights, the whole spectrum, from small to huge and all those in between. Even though this work is all about “The Creative” and the “enhancement of personal and social value”, and so on, make no mistake, it is also about creating significant wealth for The Team.

Other inter-development objectives include:
1) Making the behavior/act of inputting our insights as ah-ha’s “socially cool.” (Oprah and guests Aha! moments)
2) Must be easy and fun to do.
3) Gathering, mashing and mining the data, and data patterns, and discovering “Meta-Insights” and “Meta-Ah-Ha’s” in personal/individual cloud and the interconnected social cloud(s).
4) Delivering distributed and juicy fun chunks of insights about our own insights and about others is a key task… and seeing this in our mobile & various socnet spaces.
5) Connecting people in “event-time” globally and based on correlated symmetries between and “around” their individual insights.
6) Visually represent the data and patterns of insight as data streams in value rich and meaningful ways.
7) Connecting this dynamic 4D data matrix to other db’s both current and emerging that are and will be representing other flavors of human activity such as, personal geo-spatial info, internet content focus behavior patterns, content distribution patterns, email content patterns, people interface patterns… and of course, the individuals stated preferences.

The key is create a new and intrinsically real and more genuine domain of conversation among people, one that has new and deeper and fuller value to individuals as YOUnique human beings… and ultimately the planet itself.  This is all about having insights … about our ah-ha moments… and then as a natural consequence about discovering and living a progressively more natural, innate, genuine and truer Self or TruSelf.

Ultimately it will be about making the idea and the reality of being a more consciously YOUnique and therein genuine individual a cooler and cooler way of living in your life.

Diary = Patterns = Paths & "The Path-of-Ah-Ha" of the planet can be mesaured. TooKelvinKewl!

This will be the beginning in Social Networking of the seeing and behaving and living of a new ecology, the Ecology-of-Mind.

And, let us mention this last criterion matrix… The has-to-bee’s:
1) It has to be fun.
2) It has to feel like the NewCool thing to do, to be part of it.
3) It has to be this kind of cool but it also has to last… to have long legs.
4) It has to be Easy to Understand & Easy to Do. EtU-EtD.
5) Oh, and it has to make a massive amount of money sooner than later.

….and around this Hu-Geo-Context-Connecting universe as it will ultmately allow others to better “see” value in TheWork.

Hey, we are all connected and some more intimately and future-functionally than others.  This application space, though about connecting to people in space/time as you move about the planet (dating or simply new convo’s partners) will evolve into something much larger… human geo-context pattern measurements will emerge as a very large data metric and human data mining segment of the knowledge business.

In my book, all connecting-apps are moving in a very specific direction (the emergent peripheral apps one can guess at) and that the fundamental flow and direction of this Movement is all about representing the processes and states of individual (and individual systems and (pre) emergent systems) evolution in more and more discrete and illustratable and measurable terms.

Who we are now and who we are becoming.

The key, the next huge leap, will be in “human connect-QUALITY” which means an explosion of “genuine Self” data, TruYou knowledge and metrics and evolutionary real-time pattern data streams – human life-data and patterns of life-data and rivers of patterns of Hu-Life-data that freely intermingles and correlates and creates new “patterns of Hu-Value”… and the apps and Evo-Clouds that compute, deliver, represent, etc. them.

How to define a Gifted-SELF – the Who we are becoming – is the next big human market industry, and entrepreneurs like those at RIF-Text are directly assisting in the birth of this emergent psych0-social and new economic reality.

Minds Needs Minds... that fit!

Minds Needs Minds... that fit!

That’s my take… the human mind wants to meet optimal other minds.

I think it is this simple. Defining “optimal” becomes interesting but let us assume it is about creating new “anythings.” The moment of insight “Ah-Ha” (…and yes, I spell it differently than the popular market and for good reason) is the most intoxicating experiential phenomena known to the human mind… So having more of these that are resonant to our innate and unique gifts and dispositions and doing so with others of complementary unique-ness is… well… a real watershed party. This is what our minds want AND need intrinsically – and are designed to create, are creating, and will continue to create for themselves.

There are few if any technologies in the world today that over time have evolved outside of this idea of mind-driven architecture, design and functionality.

I am sure I am not saying anything new but I hope I am saying it uniquely and therein reaching more “minds” in the process.
